Look for the Positive!

When I practice gratitude it helps me to look for the positive things, people and influences in my life.

It makes it easier to build a shield against the negative that I'm constantly bombarded with--one of the reasons that I'm extra careful about the media (and social media) that I allow to enter my life.

Some days it feels as if the world is out to make you feel bad--maybe it is! Maybe advertisers have learned that if you're not feeling good, then they can convince you to buy their wares to make you feel better...

There's a thought!

I try not to get sucked into the web of half-truths, rumourmongering or general negativity that is bandied about. I work hard to be a positive force in the world, mainly because it helps me to sleep better at night knowing that I'm helping people and building them up instead of hurting them and pulling them down.

I (try hard to) practice the mantra of "If I don't have anything good to say, then I'll keep my mouth shut" or my fingers off the keyboard.

Try it.

You might like the changes that your change in attitude bring into your life.

As I alway say, gratitude helps me to keep my focus on the good things in my life.

I'm a half glass full girl. What about you?

Love Toni xx
